DIY Planner Page Marker and Dashboard

This week I am showing off the spread I did with the free printable from Laura Bray Designs! I love how they work with all of my favorite MAMBI Happy Planner stickers. I also added my favorite bling from The Buckle Boutique. I love how the coordinating page marker/dashboard turned out.

To make the page marker/dashboard:
1. Head over to Laura Bray Designs and download your free printable.

2. Use a Xyron machine to attach the stickers to the card stock.

3. Run it through a Scotch Lamination machine and trim around the outside.

4. Use an ARC punch to punch holes in the dashboard.

5. Insert it into your planner :)

DIY Planner Overlay!

I am customizing a Happy Planner for my best friend for Christmas. One of my favorite things I've made so far is this overlay page marker with photos dating back to our high school days.

Supplies I used:
-Xyron machine with lamination cartridge inserted. (Walmart)
-Grafix computer-printable transparent plastic sheets (Hobby Lobby)
-Crop-A-Dile Corner Chomper (Michael's on sale)
-ARC punch (Staples)

How to make it:
1. Create a collage or use a print that you like.
2. Print your image on a Grafix computer transparent plastic sheet using a ink jet printer.
3. Trim to 7.5" x 9.5"
4. Use a 1/4" corner punch to round the corners.
5. Run it through a Xyron machine with lamination cartridge inserted to protect the image.
6. Trim the extra lamination around the photo and trim corners with your corner punch.
7. Punch holes with your ARC punch and insert it into your planner.

DIY Planner Cover!

I want to give a Happy Planner to my best friend for Christmas. I love to customize things, so why should this be any different? I made a planner cover page to attach to the planner before giving it to her with a fun mambi sticker on the front with some cute scrapbooking embellishments, metallic washi tape, and some adhesive rhinestones from The Buckle Boutique.

For the inside of the cover, I made a photo collage in Photoshop and printed it on letter size glossy photo paper. It needs to be trimmed to 7.5"x9.5" to fit on the planner.

I used a small corner punch to round the corners.

Once I decided on the front and back covers, I attached them together (back to back) with a little adhesive in the middle to make it easier to run through my Xyron machine. I used the double sided lamination cartridge in my Xyron machine to marry the front and back covers together.

Lastly, I used my ARC punch to punch the holes to attach it to the front of the planner.

Another inside option...I love sparkle!

You can also make a cover to coordinate with an upcoming event you are planning for...

As a side note, the ARC punch does not punch the holes as deep as the ones on the regular Happy Planner cover page. I am looking forward to the possibility of having a mambi punch some day :)

My Planner Addiction Continues

 SEPTEMBER
So my addiction continues! I am having so much fun decorating my planner! I have two planners now, one for fun and one for work. It became apparent after this months spread that I have too many things to add to my planner so I need to seperate them into one for personal planning and one for professional planning. I will show some of my spreads from my work planner as I finish them in the future:)

These are the items I used to decorate my planner:
1. The Happy Planner stickers
2. MAMBI Sticks
3. Cheetah Rose Rhinestone Sheets from The Buckle Boutique
4. Bronze Glitter washi tape
5. Studio G and Sharpie markers to write in my planner.
6. Personal 1.5"x1.5" photos I printed on 4x6 photo paper
7. My Xyron machine to attach all of the photos on the page.

Halloween Party Sugar Skull Bling

I can't believe I was able to do 4 different projects with only 1 sheet of Sugar Skull Rhinestones from

The first project I completed were these cute cool cups for my Halloween party. I just cut the large sugar skulls out of the sheet and adhered them to these glitter cool cups and I was ready to party!

For my second project I made this cute Sugar Skull Halloween wreath. I used a wire wreath form and some black pipe cleaners to attach the wire mesh in 14 inch sections. I cut out the large sugar skull and affixed it to some foam core for the centerpiece to this cute wreath for my front door.

For my third project I used the Sugar Skull Rhinestones to decorate this Heidi Swapp Marquee Love Skull. I love how it turned out and it also gave me another centerpiece decoration option for my wreath.
