#SaborFiestaFriday Father's Day Mini Album Tutorial

Hola everyone! Welcome to #SaborFiestaFriday! Today's fiesta is all about celebrating dad! My daughter and I want to do something special and different for my husband for Father's Day this year. We decided to make him greeting cards to give him throughout the day to create a Father's Day scavenger hunt. My daughter came up with the idea and I think it's a great one! This mini album/card tutorial is for the last and best card of the day, because it's made with his favorite Sabor Papel papers from SantanaCrafts.com .

Supplies:
Silhouette machine

Directions:
Download the cutting file from The Silhouette Design Store and cut out the album pages from Sabor Amor Collection papers.

Print two sets of album pieces

Use Glue Dots to glue the like pieces together to create more structure for the album pages.

Connect the pages with tension rings to hold together

Add photos and Amor Cardstock Cutouts for decoration.

I left a small space to add a current photo from Father's Day 2016.

Don't forget to add a photo and embellishment to the back page also :)

My daughter and I love how this mini album turned out and it was so easy to make. I hope this gives you some ideas on how to use the beautiful Sabor Papel paper kits from SantanaCrafts.com

Disney Pixar Blog Hop "Mad Hatter" Inspired Party Favor

Welcome to the Disney Pixar Blog Hop!
I just love all things Disney, and I love the new Alice Through The Looking Glass Movie. I am planning a girls night in at my house for some friends of mine, so I decided it would be fun to make each of them a personalized martini glass to take home with them as a party favor.

Here is how I did it...
Supplies:
Dollar Store Martini Glasses
Feathers for decoration
Small rubber band to temporarily attach the feathers to the glass stem
Ribbon to cover rubber band

Directions:
1. Using the free Alice font and print out the phrase "We're All Mad Here" and tape it to the bottom of the glass, face up, where you want the phrase to be.

2. Use a glass engraving device to engrave the sentiment on the top of the glass tracing over the image taped under the glass. I recommend a Proxxon Glass Engraving Set for this.

3. Attach the feathers with a small rubber band so you will be able to remove them to wash the glass.

4. Tie a ribbon around the glass to hide the rubber band.
5. I also added names to each glass for a fun touch.

Such a cute party favor, I'm sure my friends are going to love them and they were so inexpensive to make! I hope this has given you a fun idea for your next party!
